Governor approves AP expenditure fund
Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimha has approved the authorisation of expenditure fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana states for a period of four months from June 2, 2014.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting with senior officials on State bifurcation held at Sudharma block, Rajbhavan here today.
The budget details are: Andhra Pradesh budget is Rs 34,595 crore, Revenue budget Rs 28,626 crore and Capital budge is Rs 3,882 crore.
Budget for Telengana State is Rs 26, 516 crore, Revenue budget Rs 21,295 crore and Capital budget is Rs 3,046 crore, a Raj Bhavan release said here.
The Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanty has informed the Governor that under Schedule X, another 38 institutions will be added in addition to the 107 institutions and a proposal will be sent to the Government of India.
Principle Secretary Irrigation Nagi Reddy has informed that under AP Reorganisation Act, Irrigation department has noticed certain discrepancies related to Krishna River Management Board and 16 other projects which are currently under construction on Krishna and Godavari basins which were not mentioned in the Schedule IX.
The Governor has accepted the proposal to forward it to Government of India for making necessary amendment in the Act.
The Chief Secretary has informed that the bifurcation of files were completed and process of digitalisation is also completed. He has also informed that the bifurcation of movable and immovable assets and vehicles was also completed.
All the committees constituted for State bifurcation process have submitted their recommendations and the reports will be sent to the Government of India, he added.
In this context, the Chief Secretary said, new Advisory and Apex committees of the State reorganisation would be re-constituted with the following members.
