Museum in Ludhiana dedicates wax statue to Modi
A museum in Ludhiana has crafted a wax statue of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) prime minister- designate Narendra Modi to celebrate his historic win.
The statue is a dedication by the owner of Prabhakar wax museum, Chandrashekhar, who excels in the profession of crafting wax figurines, to Modi who claimed a landslide win with a promise to advance economic reforms.
Chandrashekhar Prabhakar, who has been carving wax statues for the past ten years, said that as soon as Modi was nominated as the Prime Ministerial candidate, he had started working on the figurine and it took him around two months to complete it.
"Modi has got a historic win. To celebrate his victory I have made this wax statue of him," said Prabhakar.
Prabhakar added that the country needed a leader like Modi who would lead the nation on the progress path.
"Apart from Modi, I have made wax statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Manmohan Singh, Prakash Singh Badal, and from sports field, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, while from music industry Lata Mangeshkar, and many more famous personalities who have earned fame in politics and literature and culture so that people can take inspiration from them," he added.
