Port construction will begin by six months: MP
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Machilipatnam MP, K Narayana, who was elected to Lok Sabha for the second time in a row, today said the construction work of Machilipatam Port would begin by six months.
Addressing a press conference in Krishna district head quarters Machilipatnam today, he said that the TDP assured to complete the Machilipatnam port in its election promises. The port work would be taken up by six months and assured to complete at the earliest.
The newly elected MP said that he would ensure the proposal for constructing Machilipatnam-Repalle railway route would be materialized. The modernization of Krishna delta had been completed only 15-20 per cent. The new TDP led government would take steps to complete the modernization work at the earliest.
Mr Narayana said that people of the state had kept faith on the TDP, which would repay their debt by developing region. Newly elected Machilipatnam TDP MLA Ravindra said that the polls were elections between honesty and corruption in which honesty had won. TDP leaders Arjunudu, Ramesh Naidu, Gopichand and newly elected municipal council members, ZPTCs also present.
