AIADMK state secretary A Anbazhagan today said the All India N R Congress has not attained a proper victory here and the victory of the party candidate is with the help of money and muscle power and communal votes.

Talking to mediapersons here today,Anbazhagan said now that the party candidate had won the elections, it should take steps to fullfill the promises given in the election manifesto wuch as statehood,waiver of loan, implimentation of port development project, setting up of SEZ, inclusion of Puducherry in the central finance commission etc.

Stating that hitherto chief minister N Rangasamy was levelling charges against Mr V Narayansami that he is stalling the projects for Puducherry, Mr Anbazhagan said now the party should take steps to implement schemes here.

Thanking the people of the union territory who cast more than 1.30 lakhs votes to the AIADMK candidate Omalingam, Mr Anbazhagan said inspite of the defeat, the AIADMK would continue to indulge in people welfare issues. He lauded party supremo Ms Jayalalitha for bring the party to the third position in the number of parliament members and giving the DMK a death blow to the DMK. Now that the DMK had lost deposit in Puducherry, the party could be dissolved here or the party convenor Dr M A S Subramanian should resign owing moral responsability.

Pointng out that 21 state governments in the country had fixed tution fees for private schools, Anbazhagan wanted the Puducherry administration to follow the suit and also to implement Right to Education Act here. He also wanted to obtain 50 per cent of the 285 PG medical seats in the private medical colleges for the government and also to scrap the regional reservation system in education.
