Modi's removal from BCCI right: ex-BCCI Treasurer
Former BCCI treasurer said removal of Lalit Modi from BCCI was right as the board had taken the action as per its constitution.
Rungta, also a former Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) secretary, told mediapersons at an event here today that "Modi should keep away from the RCA till the BCCI gives its final decision."
Unveiling the logo of the PM Rungta Pink City Premier T20 League Cricket Tournament, which will be held from June 18 to 30 at the Bhawani Niketan School ground tournament, he said Rajasthan Sports Act-2005 has demolished the cricket in the state. "Rajasthan is the only state in the country where the act is imposed. State government should interfere and take the initiatives to remove the act, which has been damaging not only cricket but also other sports here."
RCA should organise as many tournaments and provide the chance to play here, he added.
