Buoyed with the comfortable wins in the MPTC and ZPTC elections, the Telugu Desam Party leaders assured to implement the election promises and strive for the development of the Seemandhra region.

Addressing a press conference here today, TDP Krishna District President and former MLA Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao said the TDP promised waiver of farm loans and DWACRA loans, if voted to power and assured to fulfill the promise.

He said TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu would strive to develop the Seemandra regions as fast as possible. Seemandhra region is to be developed on the lines of Singapore and Korea in short time, he said and added that the TDP would play a crucial role as Opposition party in Telangana region. Commenting on the landslide victory in the ZPTC and MPTC elections, Mr Uma informed that the TDP had won 34 ZPTCs and 471 MPTCs in Krishna District and thanked the voters for electing the TDP. General Secretary Bonda Umamaheshwara Rao and Parliamentary constituency in-charge Kesineni Nani also spoke.

In Guntur, TDP senior leader and former MLA Dulipala Narendra addressing a press conference today, said people of Seemandhra regions wanted Mr N Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Minister with a confidence that he would develop the region. Mr Narendra alleged that the YSRCP had used all the mischievous deeds to win the election. YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy deserved to be in prison, he flayed and added that the voters taught a lesson to the YSRCP in the local body polls.
