3 die in communal clases in Andhra Pradesh capital, curfew clamped
Three people died and ten injured in communal clashes in the Sikh Chawny area of Kishanbagh under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate here this morning.
Several vehicles were damaged and few burnt by frenzied mob that pelted stones on each other and marauded with weapons in the narrow lanes of the Chawny Area, a predominantly lower middle class locality adjacent to Bahadurpura of walled city.
An indefinite curfew has been imposed under Rajendranagar Police Station Limits and strict vigil kept on old city, yet another communal flash point. According to Rajendranagar Police, the troubled started during the early hours of today when few people found a religious flag half burnt atop a religious place.
