Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and the ruling AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa returned here from Kodanadu via Coimbatore this afternoon to meet senior party leaders at her Poes Garden rasidence to discuss poll prospects and the post poll scenario, amidst prediction by exit polls released on May 12 that her party would win the maximum number of seats in the state to the Lok Sabha.


Ms Jayalalithaa, who arrived from Coimbatore by a special flight, was received by her cabinet colleagues headed by O Panneerselvam, Presidium Chairman E Madhusudhanan, party functionaries and cadres.

Ms Jayalalithaa had left for her Kodanadu camp office soon after the April 24 Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu and had been discharging her official duties from there.

She has returned to Chennai two days before the announcement of the results of the Lok Sabha polls on May 16.
