6 workers injured in hot water spill from Kudankulam nuke power plant
Six workers were injured when hot water spilled on them while they were engaged in maintenance works at the first unit of the 1000 MW Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP), about 700 km from here, today.
KNPP Site Director R S Sundar said the six workers were undertaking some maintenance works on a pipeline when the hot water spilled on them.
They were admitted to the NPCIL hospital at the township.
"There is nothing to worry and their condition is stable", he said.
