BJP president Rajnath Singh today expressed confidence that the party-led NDA would form the next government at the Centre and said the role of every leader will be decided after detailed consultations.

The affirmation came in an interaction with reporters after reaching Ahmedabad a short while ago for brain storming parleys with party pm pick Narendra Modi.

Rajnath said, "We are fully confident that the BJP-led NDA will get a majority when the results of the Lok Sabha elections are declared on May 16."

He declined to spell out the future course of action of the party on the ground that he is awaiting the declaration of the Lok Sabha results.

"I don't not want to say much till the results are declared," Rajnath affirmed.

On the role of LK Advani if the BJP comes to power, Rajnath Singh made it clear that he will hold detailed consultations to decide the role of every leader within the party.

"We will decide the role of every leader after consultations," Rajnath said.

Hectic power-broking parleys within the BJP commenced, ahead of the declaration of the 16th Lok Sabha results on May 16.

Party leaders--Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari left for Gandhinagar, Gujarat, for consultations with Modi, sources said.

The top BJP leaders are expected to hold talks with Modi this evening, the sources added.

It is believed that there may be brain storming on the future plan of action of the party if BJP is voted to power.
