Just tapping your face can help you win 'battle of the bulge'
A new research has revealed that face-tapping helps people to beat stress and help control craving, thus making diets more manageable.
According to Jessica Ortnet's book 'Tapping for Weight Loss', one may still have the troublesome thought after tapping, but will no longer feel the anxiety or related craving, Metro.co.uk reported.
Ortnet has revealed the major tapping points that can help control craving food, which includes, the eyebrow (the innermost point of the brow), side of the eye (the outer edge of the socket), under eye (lower edge of the socket), under nose, chin, collarbone (near the clavicle), under arm (just below the armpit) and crown of head.
The book has found that this technique, also known as the Emotional Freedom Technique, is a scientifically proven method for reducing stress and anxiety levels and by massaging these points, one decreases the production of the stress hormone cortisol, which is linked to increased appetite and sugar cravings.
A recent study of 89 women has also revealed that those who tapped for 15 minutes per day lose an average of 16lbs in eight weeks, without following a strict diet or exercise plan and they even managed to keep all the weight six months later.
