Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said despite the claims of the opposition, his government was not in minority and exuded confidence that the coalition government will complete its tenure.

'I am confident as the government is doing a very good job,' Mr Soren said while talking to newspersons in this district where he was present to attend the wedding ceremony of the daughter of JMM MLA from Dumri Jaggarnath Mahto at Alagora village in Chandrapura of this district.

He also said there was no conflict among the coalition partners and retreated that his government was not in minority.

The Chief Minister refused to be probed further as he said he was here to take part in the marriage function and was not at any political event.

He also said he would also seek the help of President Pranab Mukherjee who is arriving here to take part in the convocation ceremony of ISM, Dhanbad for the development of the state.

'The President has a very soft corner for Jharkhand and so I would seek his help for further development of the state,' he said.
