Naidu charges Cong for resorting to low politics
Senior BJP Leader M Venkiah Naidu today charged the Congress for resorting to low-level politics and baseless allegations against BJP and its leaders.
The Congress had no other work except attacking the BJP on flimsy grounds, he said, adding right from party chief Sonia Gandhi to the grassroot party workers were engaged in spreading false propaganda against BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Mr Naidu asserted while addressing a press conference here.
He said the Congress leaders even stooped to the level of referring to Mr Modi's caste and spread all sorts of rumors about BJP leader and Mr Modi's confidant Amit Shah with regard to the 'snoopgate' controversy.
The Congress, which heads the UPA, was not in a position to talk about its achievements during its 10-year rule at the centre which was nothing but a 'regime of scams and rampant corruption,' Mr Naidu charged.
Claiming the BJP-led NDA will win 300-plus seats in Lok sabha, he said no power can prevent Mr Modi from becoming the prime minister.
