Pondy BJP wants more security at Railway Station
The Puducherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today urged the Railway authorities to provide adequate security at the Puducherry Railway Station.
In a memorandum forwarded to the Divisional Manager, of Tiruchirappalli Division and copy submited at the Puducherry Railway Station today, BJP Secretary Swaminathan pointed out to 'terrorist threat to all railway stations in the country.'
While, security is being beefed up in other railway stations, no action was being taken in Puducherry.
The Puducherry Railway Station is without a compound wall and adequate security personnel are not there.
Urgent action should be initiated in the issue,he demanded.
