Full security arrangements has been made for Faridkot Lok Sabha counting on May 16 at Faridkot and Moga where nine counting centeres have been established -- five at Faridkot and four at Moga.

Stating this here today, Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency Returning Officer Mohammad Tayyeb said the EVMs have been kept under strict vigilance by the district administration election staff and the central para-military staff.

He said five counting centres have been set up at Faridkot out of which Gidderbaha and Rampuraphul counting centre have been set up at Gymnasium Hall Nehru Park, Faridkot and three others of Jaitu, Kotkapura and Faridkot at Govt. Berjindera College Faridkot.

Whereas two centres for four constituencies of Moga including Dharamkot, Moga, Baghapurana and Nihalsingh wala have been set up at Halls of ITI Moga.

RO-cum-DC Mohammad Tayyeb also said counting will start at 8000 hrs and by the noon results will be available.

ECI has appointed three General observers-one at Gidderbaha and Rampura Phul, one for Jaitu, Kotkapura and Faridkot segments and third for Moga counting centres.
