BJP demands removal of Varanasi District Electoral Officer
BJP General Secretary and party's Uttar Pradesh In-charge Amit Shah today demanded transfer of District Electoral Officer of Varanasi, Pranjal Yadav, to ensure free and fair polling.
The removal of Mr Yadav from this city for necessary for smooth polling, Mr Shah said, talking to newsperson here.
He demanded deployment of Central forces during voting in 18 Lok Sabha seats, including this prestigious Parliamentary constituency, on May 12.
The BJP leader further claimed that his party will emerge victorious in 300 seats and lead to form the next government at the Centre.
This Lok Sabha seat is facing a direct contest between BJP PM nominee Narendra Modi and Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal.
