Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said 90 per cent of the people in BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi's road show in this temple citywere 'outsiders'.

"Mr Modi managed to congregate a huge crowd during his road show yesterday, but no less than 90 per cent of them were from the various states," Mr Azad said talking to media here. As many as 25,000 people of Gujarat are arriving Varanasi and attending the road shows and meetings of Mr Modi, he claimed. "The Congress don't believe in show-off and collecting the crowd...we believe in performing and doing hard work," Mr Azad commented.

On being questioned about the support of the Quami Ekta Dal (QED) to the Congress, the to Senior Congress leader said former's president Afzal Ansari was a gentle person and unlike his criminal-background brother Mukhtar Ansari.

Earlier, he had said this Lok Sabha election is witnessing a fight between the wealthy and the poors. 'The wealthy are supporting BJP Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi, while the Congress is getting the support of the commonman,' Mr Azad had remarked. He alleged the BJP is trying to win the elections by dividing the Muslims, but the voters are very aware and know 'who' is their real 'well-wisher.'
