Reacting to the comment by BJP Prime Ministerial pick Narendra Modi's on 'leaving the door open' for regional parties like the Trinamool Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party and the AIADMK, the Congress today ruled out any possibility of NDA or the BJP attracting allies after Lok Sabha polls.

Talking to reporters here, Congress leader and head of the AICC media department Ajay Maken, reacting to Mr Modi's comment, said, ''We don't see possibility of NDA or BJP attracting allies. Regional parties do not want to ally with the BJP.''

In an interview to a TV channel last night, Mr Modi said his party had 'left the door open' for regional parties like TMC, BSP and the AIADMK.

Reacting to Mr Modi's claim, in an interview, that the BJP would win with a clear majority and form the 'strongest and the most stable government' since Rajiv Gandhi's government, Mr Maken said, 'the BJP will not get the adequate numbers.'
