Subbiramareddy condoles AP former CM demise
Rajya Sabha member T.Subbiramareddy condoled the death of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Janardhan Reddy(NJR) today.
In his message here, Mr Reddy said he was deeply shocked and grieved to hear about the demise of Reddy.
He represents the Visakhapatnam port city constituency and is a member of the Indian National Congress.
It was during his rule, the erstwhile CPI-ML People's War Group was proscribed.
Another decision he took was to allow privatisation of professional education by permitting many medical and engineering colleges in private sector.
Former minister and senior Telugu Deasam Party (TDP) leader G Srinivasa Rao also condloed his death. He was elected from Visakhapatnam to Lok Sabha twice.
He was an able administrator, an elderly statesman and a renowned Parliamentarian, who, had served the cause of the development of the poor and downtrodden, he observed.
"Andhra Pradesh has lost a bold and dynamic leader who stood for his principles. His death is an irreparable loss to the nation and to Andhra Pradesh in particular, he said.
"I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family and pray to God to rest his soul in peace', he added.
