Tamil Nadu Governor Dr K Rosaiah today condoled the death of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Rajya Sabha member N Janardhan Reddy.


In his condolence message, Dr Rosaiah said he was deeply shocked and grieved to hear about the demise of Reddy.

He was an able administrator, an elderly statesman and a renowned Parliamentarian who had served for the cause of the development of the poor and downtrodden.

''Andhra Pradesh has lost a bold and dynamic leader who stood for his principles. His death is an irreparable loss to the nation and to Andhra Pradesh in particular,'' the Governor said, according to a Raj Bhavan communique.

''I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family and pray to God to rest his soul in peace,'' he added.
