Tobacco control film contest: Deadline extended
The deadline for submitting short films to the national short film contest organised in connection with World No Tobacco Day 2014 has been extended from May 10 to May 19.
The contest, being conducted by WNTD Kerala State Organising Committee formed under the leadership of the Department of Health, Kerala; Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology and Regional Cancer Centre here, is open to youth between the ages of 18 and 25, a press release said today.
Only the first 100 entries received before the deadline will be considered for evaluation.
Films of minimum duration of 30 seconds and not exceeding one minute are to be sent via email to email@example.com. The first three winning entries will get a cash prize of Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively; there are also two consolation prizes of Rs 1,000 each. All winners will get a certificate and memento, it added.
