Former BJP Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal's son and sitting MP from Hamirpur Lok Sabha Constituency Anurag Thakur today expressed confidence that he would romp home in the hustings for the third time in this election.

Talking to English Private Satellite Channel, Mr Thakur said 'I will win in the election and score a hatrick,' He had earlier won in the by-election in 2008 and again in the general election in 2009.

He charged the Congress party which tried its best to ensure his defeat.

The Congress party will loose the four seats in the state, he claimed and added that my victory will be on the basis of the work done in the Parliamentary constituency for the last 5 years.

Mr Thakur said I am getting support from voters as they have love and affection for him and added the Congress party would taste a humaliting defeat in the election.

The BJP leader also said the Congress Party had failed on its promise to address the unemployment problem and alleged that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi didn't done anything for the youth in the state since last 10 years.

Mr Thakur is pitted against the other two candidates in the fray---Rajinder Singh Rana from Congress, a close aide of Mr Dhumal earlier and AAP candidate Mrs Kamal Kant Batra, mother of Kargil Hero late Vikram Batra, paving way for an interesting tri-contest.
