Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today said this religious city would earn international fame, if Gujrat Chief Minister Narendra Modi becomes the next Prime Minister of India.

"This Lok Sabha election will encourage the next generation and shape up their future," Mr Chauhan said while addressing an election meeting here.

BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi wants to do a lot for this country and usher in development in Varanasi as well as the whole country, he commented.

The Varanasi has come to light these days, owing to the candidature of Mr Modi and will continue to be the same, if he becomes the next PM, the MP CM remarked.

He denounced the ruling Samajwadi Party in UP and Bahujan Samaj Party for ignoring the advancement of the state.
