Indian Army on Sunday claimed Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) at Kaman Post in north Kashmir's Uri sector.

According to reports, the Pakistani Army fired for about three hours at Kaman post in north Kashmir .

"Army showed restraint and didn't retaliate. No one was injured in the incident," said Major General Anil Chauhan, General Officer Commanding, 19 Infantry Division, .

He said the aim of the firing was apparently to disrupt the peace and tranquility along the Line of Control.

This is the first ceasefire violation in Kashmir since the DGMO level talks between India and Pakistan last month.
