Kanda announces formation of Haryana Lokhit Party
Former Minister and Independent MLA from Sirsa city Gopal Kanda announces to form 'Haryana Lokhit Party' in presence of his supporters here today.
Taking a dig at Hooda family, the 46-year-old legislator and president of newly formed political party Gopal Kanda said dynastic politics of few parties has become biggest hurdle for development of Haryana and its 2.5 crore population.
He said even after five decades of becoming a state and located closed to national capital, Haryana was still deprived of development. State is lacking behind in field of education, healthcare and trade.
Terming Haryana Lokhit Party as an alternate to existing political system, he said his party will work to end dynasty system, castism and regionalism in politics and work for the development of state with honesty and dedication.
Elaborating about plans of his party, Kanda said, 'I used to think if a man who sold iron can become Tata and man who sold shoes can become Bata, why can't a man who sold slippers can buy an aeroplane. I work hard and result is in front of you'.
He said if Gopal Kanda can achieve this why can not youth of Haryana achieve this. 'I formed new party to make this possible. Our party will help youth to realise their dreams,' he said.
