BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi today alleged that Congress was responsible for the division of the state.

Addressing a rain-affected public meeting at Indira Priyadarshini Municipal Stadium here this evening, he said the party divided the state without taking into confidence, people of Andhra Pradesh.

He appealed to the people to vote for BJP and Telugu Desam Party Candidates in the elections for the development of the country and also the state.

Heavy wind and drizzle greeted Mr Modi, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief and cine hero Pawan Kalyan as soon as they reached the dais.

Pawan, who started his speech with small drizzle alleged that YSRCP was responsible for the division of the state and a vote for YSRCP amounts to vote for 'corrupt Congress party'.
