RJD condemns the Chennai station blast
The Rashtriya Janata Dal today strongly condemned the bomb blast incident that took place in Guwahati-Bangalore Express train, which entered into the Central railway station at Chennai, this morning, in which one person was killed and 12 others injured.
In a statemnt here today, Party's National Executive committee member A G Ramachandran said this incident clearly indicated that the security agencies especially the intelligence agencies should be more active and the law and order enforcing agencies of the Central and State Governments should be more vigil.
While expressing his deep anguish over the victims and their families of today's bomb blast, Mr Ramachandran urged the Southern railway administration to enhance the solatium amount to the died and injured train passengers.
He also requested the general public especially the tain passengers to be more vigil over the movements of any suspected persons inside the train compatments and to cooperate with the security personnel, to avoid such bad incidents in the future.
