The most interesting thing of Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency was that there three women candidates with similar names Paramjit Kaur were in the fray. Another important feature was that all three major candidate residing in the same ward no. 10 of Faridkot town and they are the voters of the same polling booth. Another important thing was that the contesting candiates Joginder singh, AAP.

Sadhu singh, and SAD Bibi Paramjit kaur Gulshan voted at the same time.

Sitting MP Paramjit Kaur Gulshan claimed that the supporters were full of enthusiasm and she was very much hopeful of winning the election. On the other hand congress and AAP candidate also hoped for victory.

The common people obsersved that leaders of both Congress and SAD-BJP always promised to make Moga an industrial hub and develop Faridkot like Paris. But all there promises never materialised and people especially Faridkot people were angry and critical of MP Paramjit Kaur Gulhan and SAD MLA Deep Malhotra as well as Avtar Singh Brar.
