Three students of a government college here drowned when they went to take bath at Raj Ghat in the Narmada river, police said.

Superintendent of Police JS Kushwah said that five students of final year -- B.Sc (Computer) -- went to take bath in the river after appearing in the examination yesterday afternoon. But three of them went to deep water and drowned.

The deceased were identified as Saurabh Sharma, Yash Wardhan and Vijay Rathore. Two bodies were fished out last night while another was traced later, police added.
