An altercation following a brawl in a bar led to a shoot out in which one person was injured, police said.

The incident occurred last night when a group of people were consuming liquor and the fight ensued.

Unidentified persons shot at a man, injured him and fled from the scene. No one have been arrested so far.

Police said the injured was identified as Sharanabasayya (41). He was shifted to Government hospital and later to Basaveshwar hospital. His condition was out of danger.

Andhra incident took place late yesterday night when the victim went to bar in Annapurna crass in Jagath area, where an unidentified man picked up quarrel with him and had allegedly shot him.

The victim, suffered injury in the chest, doctors in the hospital said.

The unidentified man absconded from the spot and further investigation is on to nab him, the source said.

This is the fourth shoot out incident reported in the city in the last six months and three persons including PSI Mallikarjun Bande had died on these incidents.
