Berlusconi's 'WW2 death camp' comment 'infuriates' Germans
Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's comments on World War II death camps have reportedly infuriated the Germans.
Berlusconi commented at a rally in Milan ahead of the European elections that concentration camps never existed for Germans.
According to The BBC, he was referring to a previous gaffe in which he told a German MEP that he could play a Nazi concentration camp guard in a film.
German Families Minister Manuela Schwesig criticized Berlusconi for his comments saying that the former Italian leader's attacks against Germans were unspeakable.
The World War II remark is the latest in a long line of Berlusconi comments to have sparked criticism, the report adds.
