Asserting that BJP candidate Arun Jaitley's hands were equally stained with the blood of the 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims, Akali Dal Delhi chief Paramjit Singh Sarna today said Capt Amarinder Singh doesn't need any certificate from people like Parkash Singh Badal and Mr Jaitley whose hands were stained with betrayal and blood of the innocent Sikhs.

He lashed out at Mr Jaitley for his 'hypocritical breast beating' over Tytler statement, said, "Jaitley has no moral right to say anything on the issue as his hands are equally stained with the blood of riot victims as he, as the Union Law Minister in 2002, tried to bail out several RSS and BJP workers involved in the anti-Sikh riots of 1984."

In a statement here today, Mr Sarna pointed out that Capt Singh had proved it once for all his sincerity and commitment towards his religion whether he was in the Congress or any other party.

"There is hardly any parallel to his sacrificing the parliamentary seat and a political career when he resigned in protest against Operation Bluestar in 1984," Mr Sarna said about Capt Singh asking Mr Badal to quote one single example of such sacrifice he may have ever made.

Contrary to that Mr Badal betrayed the Sikh panth by giving his approval for the Operation Bluestar and went into hiding with his guilty conscience.

The Akali leader also lashed out at Arun Jaitley for trying to fish in the troubled waters.

He said, Mr Jaitley had no moral right to question Capt Amarinder's commitment towards the interests of the community.

"You have been beating your breast so badly over what Capt Amarinder said, but tell me what did you do as the law minister of the country to provide justice to 1984 riot victims," he asked Jaitley, adding, "Instead you, as a law minister, tried to clear the names of RSS and BJP workers, who were also involved in 1984 riots."

Mr Sarna said that when Jaitely was the Union Law Minister, he facilitated the BJP's move to bail out RSS and party workers against whom 46 FIRs were registered for anti-Sikh riots.

"And now you are beating your breast just on a single statement of Capt Singh that he did not hear Tytler's name," he told Jaitely, while remarking, Jaitley's hands were equally stained with the blood of the riot victims as he had tried to defend those invovled.
