'Friends' creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane have revealed that they have no plans for a reunion show and said that the "show is over".

The creators of the 90's hit TV series, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, told Entertainment Weekly that they have no intention of giving the sitcom a modern makeover and what was at the heart of the show is done, Metro.co.uk reported.

Kauffman said that since its 20 years later, nobody looks like they did back then, and people would just spend the whole time fixating on how old the actors look.

They always knew that the reunion would never happen, and they never wanted to be part of that, because it rarely works, he added.

Earlier it was long rumoured that the sitcom's six stars namely Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow would reunite for a return to 'Central Perk'.
