The Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting another accused, Iqbal involved in the incident of looting Trola near Shahjahanpur of Rajasthan two days ago.

The Police has earlier arrested Aalim, involved in same looting of the Trola laden with copper wire worth Rs 65 lakh.

A spokesman of police department said here today the other accused has been arrested from Industrial Model Township, Manesar and identified as Iqbal resident of village Chaila in district Mewat. They had recovered truck used by the accused while committing crime.

The accused collectively with his associates has robbed trola loaded with copper worth Rs 65 lakh on the night of April 13 and 14 near Shahjanpur.

After committing the crime, all accused alongwith trala fled towards Dharuhera on National Highway number 8. Acting swiftly, SIT staff Dharuhera barricaded NH 8 at Sabi Bridge. The accused accelerated the speed of their vehicle and hit the barricade to escape. They also fired gun shot on the police personnel.

All the accused would be produced in court today for taking them into remand.
