As many as 500 varsity scientists, officers and extension workers of the Haryana agriculture department will attend a two-day agricultural officers' workshop (AOW) at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) on April 18-19.

An official spokesperson said the workshop would discuss different problems encountered in rabi season crops and a package of practices for the forthcoming kharif season crops would also be finalised on the basis of the deliberations.

CCSHAU Vice Chancellor K S Khokhar would inaugurate the workshop, being organised by the Directorate of Extension Education of the university in collaboration with the State Department of Agriculture.
