Slamming the Congress for repeatedly making personal allegations against the party during election campaigns for the Lok Sabha polls, the BJP today said they should campaign for the polls on the basis of issues and not by making personal allegations.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP national vice- president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "The campaign for the Lok Sabha polls should focus on the issues such as development. The Congress is not talking about the issue of development in its campaign for the polls but it is making personal allegations(against BJP)."

"These elections are being fought on the issues of development and Good Governance," Mr Naqvi said.

The BJP will not let the Lok Sabha polls to be diverted from the issues, the BJP leader said.

"In all the campaigns for the elections, the BJP has been talking about the issue of Development but Congress and its allies are not talking about the development but they are talking of defeating BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the BJP," Mr Naqvi said.

"The BJP led NDA will be getting more than 350 Lok Sabha seats and it will be forming the government at the Centre after the Lok Sabha polls," Mr Naqvi said.
