The local leaders of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) at Hindupur are all set for Actor Balakrishna to file nomination papers.

Telugu Desam Founder-President NT Rama Rao's son and Telugu filmstar Nandamuri Balakrishna, who received the B-form from his brother-in-law and TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu today, will file his nomination papers from Hindupur Assembly Constituency in Anantapuram District tomorrow for the May 7 elections in Seemandhra in Andhra Pradesh.

Mr Balakrishna, who has jumped into the poll fray for the first time, will file his nominations after offering prayers at Suguru Anjaneya Temple.

Hindupur was once represented by NTR himself and later for a term by his elder son Mr Nandamuri Harikrishna.

Mr Balakrishna will be the third from the family to contest from the seat that had traditionally been a TDP stronghold.
