Young men to get employment if TDP comes to power, says Naidu
Kickstarting campaign in Telangana today, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu wanted people to bring TDP back in power so that the young men and women in the region get gainful employment.
The employment sector was fully neglected by the Congress government in the past two terms of its rule, Mr Naidu alleged.
The road show began from Kukatpalli one of the seven assembly segments of the Malkajgiri LS constituency.
Addressing several road side gatherings from his campaign van, the former Chief Minister announced that he would not leave Telangana but will install a BC leader from TDP as chief minister of Telangana. But the Congress failed to give such a promise, he flayed.
Naidu accused the Congress of deliberately failing to do justice to people of the region.
The Congress, he charged, deceived the people in all aspects, but the Telugu Desam on coming to power will rebuild a social Telangana.
Chandrababu said it was late NTR, who encouraged ordinary people to become top leaders in Andhra Pradesh when the Congress was dictating terms and its leaders were looting the people.
'Congress party is spreading rumours that I will leave you, I will not as I have to achieve 'Social Telangana,' he said.
Later addressing a public meeting in Balanagar, Naidu said that he chose Ch Malla Reddy, an academician, as Lok Sabha candidate, so that he would do well for the youth in the constituency.
