The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has invited proposals from various technical institutions and registered Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) working in the technology sector for the conduct of National Technology Day (NTD) 2014 on May 11.

Institutions including Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, Industrial Training Institutions, R&D Institutions, University Departments of Engineering Sciences are eligible for applying, a press release said today. Registered NGOs working in the technology sector alone are also eligible, but are required to produce their audited account statement for the preceding three years when applying. The proposals will be selected for the scrutinising process on a first-come-first-serve basis. The selection of institutions will be purely on merit and guidelines. An offer letter will be sent to the concerned Head of the Institution. The application format, guidelines and the list of selected institutions may be downloaded from the official website www.kscste.kerala.gov.in.

Institutions finding it difficult to organise the programme on the scheduled date can organise it on any convenient date between May 5 and May 15. Programmes organised after May 15 will not be provided any financial support. The finalised programme schedule of NTD 2014 should be furnished to the KSCSTE office in advance. A detailed report of each and every activity should be made and sent to KSCSTE.
