Hyderabad headquartered Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) engaged in the social and economic uplift of women through entrepreneurship expands to Tamil Nadu.

COWE is opening its branch at Chennai tomorrow in the presence of Actress Suhasini and former Editor of Economic Times Sandhya Sridhar, Former Editor of Economic Times and COWE President P. Soudhamini said in a release here today.

COWE's sixth branch, the Chennai Chapter will be launched at a function tomorrow evening to be held at Citi Central Mall, Mylapur, Chennai.

Well known Socio Environmentalist Mangalam Balasubramanian, Founder & Managing Trustee of Exnora Green Pammal will be heading the COWE Chennai chapter as President. From a regional body, COWE is becoming a national body to reckon with, Soudhamini declared.

COWE is also expanding its foot print to Tamil Nadu and is working towards expanding foot print to many other states.

It has already signed MoUs to set up branches at Delhi, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Seemandhra, which will become function soon in the near future.

COWE also plans to branch out to the districts too, the release added.
