A BCCI plea, seeking copies of the statement made by Team India captain MS Dhoni before Justice Mukul Mudgal committee, which inquired into allegations that IPL 7 had been fixed, will now come up on April 16 before the top court.

BCCI has sought a copy of the testimony of Dhoni in view of reports that he had lied before the committee to shield ex-BCCI chief N Srinivasan and his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan.

Meiyappan is facing the heat in view of charges that he had been involved in the sensational IPL 7 spot fixing and betting scandal.

Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, is also a vice-president of 'India Cements', owned by Srinivasan and his family members.

The apex court had described the continuation of N Srinivasan as BCCI chief as 'nauseating'.
