Kerala recorded 74.04 per cent polling in the 16th Lok Sabha elections, according to the final figures available with the State Election Commission here today.


Among the 20 constituencies, Vadakara topped with 81.61 per cent polling while Kannur with 81.32 and Kozhikode with 79.80 per cent were not far behind. However, Pathanamthitta recorded only 66.01 per cent, the lowest voting percentage in the State.

According to the latest data, Kasargod registered 78.49 per cent, Wayanad 73.28, Malappuram 71.27, Ponnani 73.83, Palakkad 75.39, Alathur 76.45, Thrissur 72.15, Chalakkudy 76.94, Ernakulam 73.56, Idukki 70.66, Kottayam 71.70, Alappuzha 78.78, Mavellikkara 71.35, Pathanamthitta 66.01, Kollam 72.12, Attingal 68.77 and Thiruvananthapuram 68.69.
