BJP workers who were agitated over the injustice meted out to the party loyal workers by forging alliance with the TDP, have staged protest demonstration in front of the party district office here today raising slogans against the seats allotment.


They burnt the effigy of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for doing injustice to the BJP in the seats allotment. Led by party senior leader Saibabu, Chekka Ramesh the protesters, had an heated altercation with the party District President Y Suryanarayana Raju, Kisan Morcha State Vice President Y Malakondaiah and party District General Secretary Bikkina Visweswerarao who were amidst a meeting in the office.

They pulled up the district president for his tacit support to the alliance with the TDP and warned that party workers would not work wholeheartedly for the candidates' success in the elections. They demanded one Lok Sabha seat and three assembly seats for BJP under the alliance accord.
