The Indian Christian Secular Party has plans to contest all the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

At a news conference here today, party National Core Committee member Kandru Prabhu Kumar and party official spokesman Suvarta Raju announced that their party was decade old and a recognised national party striving for ensuring social justice to all sections.

"Though party has many Christians on its rolls, it is totally secular in its character and wedded to the welfare of all sections especially the weaker sections, dalits and downtrodden besides the minorities. It respects the religious sentiments of all communities and strives for communal harmony .It's main aim was to establish a new society free from corruption and social evils," they claimed.

Further, they said their election manifesto stresses on providing of religious freedom to all people especially the Dalits, providing of 50 percent reservations to womenfolk in the statute making bodies, bringing both the elected peoples representatives and the officials under the purview of the Lok Pal. It also stresses on revoking of the GOs 746 and 747 that are usurping the rights of the Christian community.

Later, Prabhu kumar announced the new committee for the East Godavari district unit with T Stephen Babu as the President, David Raju as the general secretary and Suvarta Raju as the treasurer.
