Modi to address people in IT hub tomorrow
BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address an election rally in the city tomorrow to seek votes from the people for the four BJP candidates in the segments coming under the city.
BJP holds three out of these four segments. While, BJP General Secretary H N Ananth Kumar is seeking a sixth term from Bangalore South, former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda is contesting from Bangalore North. The other two segments are Bangalore Central, where sitting member P C Mohan is contesting and Bangalore Rural is represented by D K Suresh of Congress.
Former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok said preparation was in full swing to make the rally successful at the sprawling ground next to PES college on the Hosur road, close to the IT hub of Electronics City.
"We are expecting thousands of IT professionals coming to hear Mr Modi and to help them we have fixed the event at six PM," he said.
He said BJP workers were enthusiastic and he was confident that the party could win all the four seats.
