Coming out in support of his teammate and close friend Yuvraj Singh, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has urged fans to not be "bitter about just one bad day".

"Shocking to c every1 blaming @yuvstrong12. Guys this man has won u 2wc's. One of the rare match winners India has produced," tweeted Harbhajan.

In the wake of India's defeat in the final of the T20 World Cup, game's observers and many fans have been pointing the finger of blame squarely at one individual- Yuvraj.

The left-hand batsman had arguably his most disappointing night as an Indian player, scrabbling just 11 runs from 21 balls and stalling his side's momentum at a crucial time which led to India totalling a mere 130, a target that was overhauled in 17.5 overs by Sri Lanka in the final last night. But the Indian offie think otherwise.

"From 1st 19wc to natwest to 2007t20 to 2011wc. Find me a player who has done so much in big matches. 1 bad day n we become so bitter," said Harbhajan.

"N pls don't forget he wasn't there alone. 10 others were there too. Let's admit better team won. Why to find a scapegoat. It's a team game."
