BJP's Junagadh unit's website was allegedly hacked by unknown people and morphed photograph of party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was uploaded on it. Police today registered a case in this matter.

The hackers allegedly also posted comments against the RSS.

In-charge of BJP Junagadh office Raju Jivani, who came to know about the incident this morning, has lodged the complaint.

Mr Jivani said a morphed photograph of Mr Modi was uploaded on the website- www.bjpjunagadh.org.

The hackers also uploaded a morphed photograph of the national tricolour. Police was investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, Congress has demanded an inquiry into the alleged hacking.

Talking to mediapersons here, Gujarat Pradesh Congress President Arjun Modhwadia claimed that it was not hacking, but an act by BJP itself.

He said whenever the elections approach, BJP resorts to such tactics like fake encounters and now it has resorted to fake hacking.
