Rahul Gandhi targets BJP over delay in releasing party's manifesto
The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, on Sunday took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for not releasing its manifesto ahead of parliamentary polls.
The BJP is likely to release its manifesto on April 07, the first day of the polls.
Gandhi said in contrast the Congress party had prepared its manifesto after consulting people.
"Elections are about to begin within two days but the BJP leaders have not released their manifesto. We have been working for six months, seeking your suggestions, and have prepared our manifesto after taking suggestions from 5,00,000 people," he said in Sirsa in Haryana while campaigning for a party's candidate.
The Congress vice-president said the opposition's bubble would burst after elections.
"After elections their marketing strategy, their (development) model will burst. Their leaders will wonder why did they spend so much money and why did they hype it so much build? But it will burst," Gandhi added.
