Swamy to move court for detailed probe into Sunanda's death
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy today said he would approach the court, soon after the elections, for a detailed inquiry into the unnatural death of Sunanda Pushkar, late wife of Union Minister Shashi Tharoor, who is contesting Lok Sabha elections from here.
Addressing a press conference here, he asked why Mr Tharoor and Sunanda's family were not showing interest to know the reason for the unnatural death of Sunanda.
How a man who failed to protect his wife, could protect the women in Kerala, he asked.
"I am not accusing Mr Tharoor of killing Pushkar. But who killed her? We want to know that. But Tharoor is keeping quite. According to pos-tmortem report, Pushkar suffered many injuries. Who is responsible for this,?" he asked.
Dr Swamy alleged that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi son-in-law Robert Vadra was involved in Aaranmula airport project and Mr Tharoor was instrumental in clearing all environmental norms related to the project.
Alleging that Mr Tharoor had failed to implement the Vizhinjam project, he said his connection with Arabian country Dubai, was the reason for delaying the project. Â
He also failed to implement many of his promises, including of bringing the High Court bench in the state capital, he charged.
