Anbazhagan asks party workers to work hard for DMK's victory
DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan today called upon party workers to work hard for the April 24 Lok Sabha election and see that the party wins as many Lok Sabha seats as possible.
Declaring open party's Tiruchirapalli Lok Sabha constituency Chief Election Office here today, he recalled the party nominee for the Tiruchirapalli Lok Sabha constituiency Mu Anbazhagan's service to the people as Tiruchirapalli City Corporation member and Deputy Mayor of the Corporation for years together and his tireless efforts towards party building activities.
He wanted that the party cadres should see that each and every vote of the constituency were cast in favour of Mr Anbazhagan.
Later, when the newspersons drew his attention towards the alleged usage of Tiruchirapalli City Corporation's vehicles in the yesterday's AIADMK election campaign meeting which was addressed by Ms Jayalaithaa, Mr Anbazhagan said if it was true then it was a clear violation of code of conduct of the election.
Later, Mr Anbazhagan addressed several way side election campaign meetings at Woriyur, Tharanalur, in the city and suburb Tiruverumbur and canvassed votes in favour of the party's nominee Mu Anbazhagan.
Popular film actress Ms Khusbu also canvassed votes favour of the party's nominee Mu Anbazhagan in Natharsha Pallivasal, Woriyur, Puthur, and Subramnaiyapuram areas of the city.
